SERVICES FOR MRS. JOHN BRIKOWSKI TO BE SATURDAY

Mrs. Elsie Brikowski, Bloomville, died at 1 o'clock this morning in Holy Cross hospital. She had been ailing since December 14.

The deceased was born March 9, 1892, in Latvia to George and Dorothy Bolder. She came to the United States in 1907. On September 10, 1910, she was married to John Brikowski in the town of Schley. She and her husband operated a hotel and then a grocery in Bloomville. She was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran church in Gleason, and of the Homemakers Club in Bloomville.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, John Brikowski, Jr., Manitowish, and Albert A. Brikowski, Janesville; one brother, Robert Bolder, Antigo; three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Bertha) Krumming, Gleason, Mrs. John (Ida) Olson, Astoria, Ore., and Mrs. Cyrus (Irma) Laugeson, Portland, Ore.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Taylor funeral home, with the Rev. Edward Gade, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Gleason cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Taylor funeral home from Friday morning until the hour of services.
