MARSHALL – Edna Avel Metcalf Teague, 84, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Teague was born January 25, 1928 in Madison County. She was a homemaker and a member of Old Bull Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Florence Robinson Metcalf; sisters, Zora Mace, May Keith and Jessie Fender; brothers, Clarence, Fred and Claude Metcalf; grandson, Benji Fender; daughter-in-law, Bobbie Jennifer Teague.
Surviving are her daughters, Glenda (Harley) Rice, Sharon (Richard) Rice; sons, Berlin (Marie) Fender, Allan (Peggy) Fender, Richard (Sue) Teague and Terry Lee Teague (at the home of Glenda Rice); grandchildren, Brenna Fender, Scotty (Stephanie) Rice, Allison Fender, Kenny (Ashley) Teague; great-grandchildren, Austin Levi, Autumn Sky, Cheyenne and Dakota Rice; brother, Ernest Metcalf.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the chapel of Madison Funeral Home with Reverends Danny Jenkins, Clifford Cable and Jimmy Trantham officiating. Burial will follow in Shelton Cemetery.
