Funeral services for Anna Groom Elliott, late of Littleton, Colo., were held at the Morrison Community church. Thursday, Jan. 7, at 2 p. m. A comforting discourse was delivered by Rev. J. T. Carlyon. Mrs. G. H. Luce and Rev. J. T. Carlyon, accompanied by Mrs. F. L. Luce, rendered appropriate duets. The pallbearers were: J. H. and Ted Schrock, E. D. and Frank Fleming, B. A. Bevans and Otto Sanger. Anna B. Groom was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Groom at Morrison, Colo., Sept. 18, 1896, and spent her girlhood days here. Anna B. Groom and Ray C. Elliott were united in marriage Oct. 24, 1916. Anna Elliott passed away at her home, two miles west of Littleton, Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1926, at 8 p. m., leaving her husband and one daughter, Laura Lee; her mother, Mrs. Nancy Groom; four sisters, Julia Baker, Emma Groom and Effie Knoll, of Morrison, and Prudence Herr of Golden, and three brothers, George, Edward and James Groom, all of Morrison, and a host of friends to mourn her untimely departure. Mrs. Elliott was a member of Red Rock Circle No. 130, Neighbors of Woodcraft, and members of this organization participated in the ceremonies at the Morrison cemetery, where interment took place. Arrangements were in charge of the Englewood mortuary.
