JEFFERSON COUNTY LOSES TWO CITIZENS
John Groom and Mrs. William Robson, Forty-Year Residents, Succumb. Special to The News. MORRISON, Colo., May 8.—John Groom, 69, a resident of this section for more than forty years, and Mrs. Minnie Robson, wife of William Robson, superintendent of Genesee park, two well known Jefferson county citizens, died this week. Mr. Groom died Saturday, a victim of rheumatism. He was engaged in farming and the cattle business for many years and had also been superintendent of the Ward canal irrigation ditch. Funeral services will be held Monday. He leaves a widow and nine children. Mrs. Robson died in the St Luke's hospital, Denver, following an operation. She was born at Mt. Vernon and lived in this section for thirtyeight years. Beside her husbaand she is survived by three children. Funeral services will be held Monday.
