Lucious Terrell Adams, 63, of Route 4, Huntsville, died yesterday at Huntsville Hospital.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Viola Adams; three daughters, Mrs. Effie Alverson, Mrs. Maudie Raines and Mrs. Elizabeth Campbell; seven sons, Wilburn, Joe, Clifford, Willie, Shelvie, J.D., and Pfc. Lucious Adams Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Church of God on 14th Avenue in West Huntsville, with the Rev. Wallace Willingham officiating. Burial in Maple Hill cemetery will be directed by Laughlin-Service Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Jewel Hosch, Aaron Mullins, Robert Adcock, H.M. Johnson, Harvey Cagle and Harris Bingham.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe White, Carlos Smith, Jr., B.W. Branum, W.Y. Vaughn, John Carson and Dr. James Jordan.
