Funeral services for John H. Hirth will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Hollywood Cemetery in McComb, Miss.
Mr. Hirth died Friday at Jefferson Care Center in Metairie. He was 86.
He was a native of New Orleans and was a civil service employee for 29 years. He was a former resident of Gulfport and Bay St. Louis, Miss., and lived in Jefferson Parish for 13 years.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Hirth Sr., three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
