Helen Louise Hammond Hirth, on Monday July 31, 1978, at 3:40 o'clock p.m., wife of John Herbert Hirth, mother of Thomas W. Hirth Sr., and the late Herbert H. Hirth; sister of Mrs. Ruth Felder of McCombe [sic McComb] Mississippi, Ray C. Hammond of Shreveport, Louisiana, Mrs. Katherine Hedges of Biloxi, Mississippi, and the late William and Jack Hammond; grandmother of Mrs. Cynthia Parker, Thomas W. Hirth Jr., and Donnairth; also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, a native of McCombe [sic McComb], Mississippi, and a resident of New Orleans, La. for many years.

Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the Jefferson United Methodist Church, Metairie Ridge Chapter No. 169, OEX, Quitman Lodge No. 76, F&AM, and U.S. Postal employees, are invited to attend the funeral. Services from the Jefferson home of Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 North Causeway Boulevard, on Wednesday, August 2, 1978 at 9:30 o'clock a.m.

Interment in Hollywood Cemetery, McComb, Mississippi. Visitation on Tuesday after 6 o'clock p.m.
