Leroy Zumwalt, son of Homer Zumwalt and Catherine Kobush, married Mary A Couch on June 17, 1963 in Bowling Green, Missouri, and she survives. Leroy is also survived by three sons; Rocky, Roy, and Randy, and two daughters; Rashell and Rita, his step-mother, nine brothers; Stoney, Ray, Forrest Wayne, Eddie, Roger, Matthew, Danny, Sonny Mosley and Ronnie Mosley, eight sisters; Rachel Fay, Janice, Sharon Kay, Cathy, Vicki, Delores, Joann and Shirley. Leroy was killed in a work related accident while setting up a mobile home. He had spent most of his life in the Bowling Green area and had served in the Army. He and his wife had served as foster parents for six years and he was a member of the Peno Church where he was a Sunday School teacher, song leader, and director of Vacation Bible School. Also, he was a member of the executive board of Salt River Baptist Association and the Louisiana Baptist Association, and a member of the Pike County Council for Concerned Children.
