Mrs. Rose Marney

Mrs. Rose M. Marney, 92, 1157 Jewell, died Friday at her home.
She was born Nov. 2, 1886, in Silver Lake. She was a resident of Rossville and Silver Lake area before moving to Topeka in 1945.

She married Joseph O. Marney on Sept. 16, 1903, in Topeka. He died Jan.17, 1961. A daughter, Marie V. Anderson, and three sons, Theodore Marney, Oliver D. Marney and William F. Marney, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include four daughters, Margaret Marney, 1157 Jewell, Fleta Jones, 2800 W. 10th, Nadine Berry, 1210 Washburn, and Betty Corwin, 861 Eastgate; 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Services are pending at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
