Margaret C. Marney, 79, 1157 Jewell, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, at her home.
She was born Sept. 29, 1906, at Rossville, the daughter of Joseph O. and Rose Ropp Marney, and attended Rossville schools. She lived in Topeka since 1945.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Felta Jones, Mrs. Nadine Berry and Mrs. Betty Corwin, all of Topeka.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Miss Marney will lie in state after noon today at the mortuary.
