Betty E. Corwin, 69, Topeka, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 1996, at her home.
She was born Dec. 13, 1926, in Rossville, the daughter of Joseph marney and Rose M. Ropp. She was reared in Rossville and lived most of her life in Topeka.

She married Billy D. Corwin on April 22, 1943, at Lyndon. He died March 31, 1980.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Myers and Cheryl R. Gordon, both of Topeka; a son, Billy D. Corwin II, Topeka; two sisters, Fleta Jones and Nadine Berry, both of Topeka; 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka, 66606.
