Miles H. Howell, age 82 years, a resident of Hodgenville Kentucky, died Wednesday afternoon , May 2 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown Ky, where he had been a patient for about 2 weeks. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife Maggie Loyall Howell, one son and five daughters; Alfred Howell of Hodgenville, Verdie French, Effie Underwood both of Hodgenville, Edna Petebenner of Illinois, Lela Mae Skaggs of Magnolia, Pauline Keith of Louisville. Also surviving are 35 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren. Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in charge of the services and burial was in the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
