MRS. MARTHA BAKER of
Vauxhall, beloved wife of the late Mr.
Perry Baker, passed away on Thursday,
May 16,1991 at the age of 92
years.
Martha was born on June 9,1898 at
Fontensall, Iowa. As a young girl, she
moved with her family to Minot,
North Dakota where she received her
schooling and later met and married
Perry Baker. The couple moved to
Retlaw, Alberta in 1917 where they
farmed. Perry passed away in 1937
and in 1969, Martha moved to Vauxha11
she has continued to reside
until the time of her passing.
She was predeceased by her busband
Perry; two sons in infancy and
two sons Russell and Vernon.
The Funeral Service was held in St. Joseph's Catholic
Church, Vauxhall on Tuesday,
May 21 with Mr. Brent Woodard officiating. Interment to
follow in the Vauxhall Cemetery.
