Funeral services for Miss Polly Ware Davenport, 87, of Center Point, were to be held this afternoon at 4 pm in Plummer-Fair Funeral Home.
Rev Virgil Hanks, Methodist minister, was to officiate. Burial was to be in the Center Point Cemetery.
Miss Davenport died Wednesday in Brown's Nursing Home in Fredericksburg. She was born on January 20, 1885 in Bandera but spend most of her life in Center Point. She was a retired school teacher.
Survivors include a sister, Miss Josephine Davenport of Center Point and a brother Bob Davenport of Comfort.
