Funeral services for Floyd Wilborn Wood, 68 years of age, will be held Thursday at 1:00 o'clock from the Mt. Zion Church of God with the Rev. Walter Crouch, of Irvington, in charge. Burial will be in the family cemetery, near the church. Mr. Wood, a native of Ash County, North Carolina, died at his home, Casey Creek, Rt. 1, Monday after an illness of 12 months. He professed faith in Christ several months ago, and was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of God. He united in marriage to Biner Raena Eastridge in 1899 who survives him. Children surviving are: Charlie Wood, Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Hattie Graybeal and William Wood, Portland, Oregon, Rev. Walter Wood, Anderson, Ind., Mrs. Elizabeth King, Indianapolis, Ind., Miss Nina Wood, Mrs. Ina St. John, Wiley Wood and Mrs. Ella Morris, all of Cincinnati, and Oscar Wood, Casey Creek. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Eliza Surber, Oval, N. C., and 22 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. The pallbearers were grandsons: Wayne King, Douglas King, Rodney Wood, Halicy Wood, Bernard Wood, and Travis. Honorary, James King, Dan Carroll, J. R. Greer, J. G. Barr, J. D. Campbell and Lester Lewis. Flowerbearers were: Miss Phyllis Jean Wood, Miss Alano Jean Wood, Miss Deloris Wood, Miss Dortha Eastridge, Miss Helen Eastridge, and Miss Bonia Eastridge.
