Mrs. Julia B. Cullen, 93, of the Chilton Village Nursing Home, passed away on Sunday, January 27, at the nursing home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at St. Martin Catholic Church, Charlestown, Rev. Loren Nys F.D.S. will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Augustine Cemetery Chilton.
She was born July 28, 1897, in Reedsville, daughter of the late Herman and Ernstina Hintz Boettcher. She married James F. Sullen Sr. on September 27, 1918, at Camp Douglas. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church, Charlestown, and a member of the V.F W. Auxiliary No. 3153.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Pearl) Bruns of Chilton and Doris Schmitz of Hilbert; two sons and daughters-in-law, George and Mary Cullen of New Holstein and James and Lucille Cullen of Chilton; one son-in-law, Clarence Schmitz of Chilton; 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on November 23, 1977, a daughter, Bernice Schmitz, a son-in-law, Elmer Schmitz Sr., and a grandson, Eugene Schmitz, also by three sisters and one brother.
