Correspondent Passes
We grieve to chronicle the passing of Mrs. Lulu Hubbell, of Draper, who passed away at the Park Falls Hospital Friday, May 11, 1934, at the age of 57 years. She was postmistress at Draper for the past 20 years. She was also correspondent for the Record for the past number of years.
She is survived by her husband and seven daughters.
The Record joins the many friends in extending sympathy to the sorrowing relatives.

Note from D.M. (49640512): The post office was in the front of her house. Neighbors would stop in to pick up their mail. Lulu was also a midwife, delivering babies for her family members and community members. Tragically she died in a car accident while traveling to Park Falls.
