Yesterday afternoon at 1 o’clock another old settler was borne away by the hand of death. The subject was Mr. Morris S. Howell in his fifty-fifth year. Mr. Howell came to this country twenty years ago and has ever since resided where he did, on the Dubuque road two miles north of the post office. He leaves a wife and two sons. The funeral will be held this afternoon at two o’clock.
