He is survived by his loving wife Nancy; children Ron, Melody, Deborah and Wesley; brothers Sandy and Pete; sisters Elsie, Mary, Ann, and Marg; and his loyal friend Max. Jacob was predeceased by his brothers Hank, George and Ben; and sister Tina. Jacob lived in and was proud to work for the City of Calgary, and retired in Strathmore. He loved watching hockey, camping, reading crime novels, playing horseshoes, and tic-tacs.
