MR. HENRY (HANK) FRIESEN
of Vauxhall, beloved husband of
Mrs. Agatha Friesen, passed away in
Lethbridge on Tuesday, September
25,1990 at the age of 61 years.
Hank was born on January 11,1929
at Rosthern, Saskatchewan. At an
early age he moved to Coaldale and
then to Vauxhall where he received
his schooling. Hank worked on various
farms and was a lease rider for
the Vauxhall Community Pasture for
13 years. He purchased his farm in
the late 50's and later married Agatha
Lowen 1953.
Mr. and Mrs. Friesen have continued
to reside on their farm in
Vauxhall until the time of his passing.
He had a great love for horses and
cattle and was a member of the
Vauxhall Saddle Club and the
Vauxhall Royal Canadian Legion.
Besides his loving wife Agatha of
Vauxhall, he is survived by five
sisters: Mary Klassen and Marg
Clarke both of Calgary, Elsie
(Maurice) Groves of Lethbridge,
Tina (Clem) Bexte and Anne (Dean)
Johnson both of Vauxhall; five
brothers: Sandy (Shirley) and Jake
(Nancy) both of Calgary, Pete
(Elaine) of Creston, George (Katie)
and Ben (Betty) both of Vauxhall,
numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father
George in 1981 and his mother Mary
in 1960.
The Funeral Service will be held in
the Vauxhall Mennonite Brethren
Church on Friday, September 28 a
2:00 P.M. with Pastor Adam Wiggins
officiating. Interment to follow in the
Vauxhall Cemetery.
