FUNERAL HELD TODAY FOR GEORGE E. NOLAN

The Rev. J.W. Hogan officiated at requiem high mass this morning at St. Leo's Catholic church for George E. Nolan, 33, who died suddenly New Year's day. The church choir sang at the service.

The body was taken to St. Leo's cemetery. Pall-bearers were Dan Dougherty, Byron Roche, Karl Wilkins, H.B. Eck, Peter Dippong and A.J. Parke.

Many friends were at the church for the rites and among the family members present were Mr. Nolan's mother, Mrs. Catherine Nolan of Owatonna, Minn., and his brothers, John Nolan of Williston and Hugh Nolan of Faribault, Minn., who came to Minot Tuesday. Survivors in Minot include Mr. Nolan's wife, Kathryn Francis Nolan, an infant daughter, and a brother, Frank Nolan. Three other brothers and three sisters also survive.

Mr. Nolan represented the H.J. Heinz company here.
