Funeral services for James R. Pennington were held Monday at White mortuary chapel by the Rev. Robert C. Richards.
Mrs. Charles Allen was organist and Mrs. David Mead was soloist.
Pallbearers were Gary Hawkins, Ronald Hoskin, Robert Emerson, Richard Hawkins, William Hawkins and Carthel Hardwick.
Concluding rites were held at Twin Falls cemetery.

J.R. PENNINGTON TAKEN BY DEATH
JEROME Sept 14- James R. Pennington, 64, died Thursday
evening at Twin Falls Clinic hospital after a brief illness.
He was born Aug 18, 1897, at Blue Jacket, Okla;, and in 1914
moved with his family to the Twin Falls area. He was married
to Stella M. Davis Sept, 6 1937 at Rogerson. They farmed near
Jerome for several years.
Surviving besides his widow are a daughter, Judy Pennington
Jerome; three brothers, Ross Pennington, Jerome; Russell Pennington, Kimberly, and Claude Pennington, Seattle, Wash.
and five sisters Mrs. Daisy White, Eden ; Mrs. Goldie Hawkins,
Twin Falls; Mrs. Myrtle Chrisman, San Bernardino,Calif.; A
brother, Ray Pennington, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at Monday at , White mortuary
Twin Falls by the Rev. Robert C Richards pastor of the Valley
Community church, Eden.Concluding rites will be held at Twin
Falls cemetery. Friends may call at White mortuary from
Saturday noon until time of services.
