Russell Orval Pennington, 70 227 W. Madison Kimberly, died at Magic Valley Memorial Hospital Thursday following a long illness.
He was born Jan.16, 1899, in Commerce, Okla., and married Iva Hawkins in Twin Falls March 24, 1923. He came to Idaho as a youth and farmed in the Kimberly area and near Filer. He was a member of the Kimberly Christian Church.
Surviving are his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Dona) Hoskin, Jerome; two brothers, Ross Pennington, Jerome, and Claude Pennington, Seattle, Wash.; five sisters, Mrs.Daisy White, Kimberly, Mrs.Goldie Hawkins,Mrs. Barbara Fagen, California and Mrs. Genieva Allred Salt Lake City, Utah, and five grandchildren.
Mr. Pennington was preceded in death by three sons and two brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the White Mortuary Chapel by the Rev. Charles Miller. Friends may call at White Mortuary Saturday, Sunday, and Monday until 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Twin Falls Cemetery.
