From Holland St. John - "Ella was the daughter of William and Mary (Moore) Duckworth and was born July 14, 1868 on the family farm located near the hamlet of Farmerville, Black Township, Posey County, Indiana. When she was seven years of age, the family moved to Gallatin County, Illinois where her father established a farm near Bear Creek, not far from the hamlet of Omaha. Ella married October 13, 1887 Robert J. Poynor. Very little is known about Robert and Ella and their family. One source states that Ella passed away in 1941. Where she died and where she is buried has not been determined. Her parents and several of her siblings are interred in the Mount Olive Cemetery located in White County, Illinois. Other members of the Duckworth clan are buried in the Hazel Ridge Cemetery in Gallatin County near the town of Omaha. However, if Ella and her husband moved away from the area or if Ella spent her senior years living with one of her children who lived out of the area, it has not been discovered."
