HEART ATTACK CLAIMS LIFE OF ANTON PECH
Suffering from a heart attack Anton Pech, 60, passed away early this morning
at his home at Gibson. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 from the
home, the Rev. Teply officiating and burial will take place in Evergreen in
this city.
Mr. Pech made his home in the county, having been born at Kossuth, Nov. 16,
1867. He operated a farm in Gibson. Surviving is his wife, who was Anna Krejcie
before their marriage 36 years ago, and four children, who are Mrs. Adolph
Polivka of Polivka’s Corners, Mrs. William Spevacek of this city, William of
Gibson and Louis of Gibson. Seven brothers, Joseph and Jerry of Melnik, Charles,
Emil and Fred of Francis Creek, Henry of Four Corners and James of this city,
also remain. One sister survives, being Mrs. Joseph Soukup of Melnik and one
grandchild.
