FRED PECH

Fred Pech, 50, of Francis Creek, prominent filling station operator, died last
night at the Holy Family hospital, where he was moved from his home last
Sunday.
Mr. Pech's death is attributed partly to shock resulting when his home in Francis
Creek was destroyed by fire March 9.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Husar funeral home at
Kellnersville. Burial will be in the Francis Creek National cemetery.
Mr. Pech was born at Kossuth in 1891 and in 1921 married Julia Halvlovetz. He
located in Francis Creek in the filling station business. Mr. Pech was also a
musician and was a member of numerous bands and orchestras in the county.
Survivors are the widow; two sons, Victor and Gordon, at home; sister, Mrs. Joseph
Soukup, of this city; three brothers, Jerry, of Melnik, Henry of Cato and Emil of
this city.
The body may be viewed at the Husar funeral home.
