Gustave O. Ceaglske 62, of 1711 Marshall St., Manitowoc, died late Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate with burial in Calvary cemetery.

He was born in 1889 in Waseca, Minn., and came to Wisconsin with his parents and the family settled in Merrill. In 1913, he married Mary Reedy of Maribel and the couple settled in Manitowoc.

Prior to his retirement 10 years ago, he was employed as an auto mechanic. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Survivors are the wife; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Beatty of Manitowoc and Mrs. Joseph Shimek of Cato; son, Victor of Manitowoc; sister, Mrs. Ida Welk of Merrill; three brothers, Hugo of Merrill, Emil of Duluth, and Otto of Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday and the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday by the Catholic Order of Foresters.
