James B. White, 80, of R. 4, Sanders, died Saturday morning at his residence.

He was born June 28, 1894 in Monroe County, the son of John H. and Alice (Beightel) White. He was a retired stone mill worker and a member of the Sanders Pentecostal Church, where he had served as elder for ten years. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Millworkers Union.

Surviving are the wife, Lorene (Sipes), one daughter, Mona E. Isaac of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, George H. White and James E. White, both of Bloomington; four sisters, Mary Ann Reynolds, Opal Grubb, and Ephra Abbitt, all of Bloomington, and Maudie Krebbs of Elkhart; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary C. Hawkins, who died in 1973.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sanders Pentecostal Church with Brother Russell Nelson presiding. Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the Allen Funeral Home from 2 to 9 p.m. today.
