PARIS NEWS AUG 7, 2003

HUGO, OKLA - Elva Abernathy, 87, of Hugo died Tuesday, Aug 5, 2003 in Paris.

Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Saturday, August 9 in Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo. Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery in Hugo.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday Aug 8 at Prater-Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home.

She was born Oct. 14, 1915 in Hugo, the daughter of Harry and Thelma (Walker)Kizer.

Survivors include one son, Foy Abernathy and wife Jeannie of Ottawa Lake Mich; and three grandchildren, Michael, Steven and Dave; five great-grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.
