She was the daughter of Elbert and Zella (Carpenter) Mauck. From 1953 to 1964, Nadine lived in Kansas City and Shawnee, Kansas. In 1976, she moved to Ottawa, in Franklin County, Kansas, where she lived until her death Thursday, May 6, 2004, at the age of seventy-one years.
Nadine graduated from Hayes School of Beauty, Kansas City, Kansas, in 1953.
In the 1980’s she was owner and operator of Nadine's His & Her's Hair Styling in Ottawa, she also was a stylist for homebound and nursing home residents.
She was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Ottawa and Kansas City Women's Cosmetologists.
Nadine was an outgoing, lovely lady, who greatly enjoyed her family. She also enjoyed and appreciated her many friends.
On May 10, 1954, Nadine was united in marriage with Edwin L. Pate at Kansas City, Kansas. They later divorced. On October 19, 1964, Nadine was united in marriage with William H. "Bill" Gremminger at Miami, Oklahoma. He survives of their home.
She is also survived by four daughters, Glenda Jean Pate-Gorsline of Kansas City, Missouri, Patti Pate and her husband, Joel Butner, of Leawood, Janet Leigh Pate-Clauser and her husband, Jeff, of Ottawa, Cheryl Roth and her husband, J. D., of Ottawa; son, William J. Gremminger and his wife, Kimberley, of Ottawa; three brothers, Wayne Mauck and his wife, Martha, of Dumas, Texas, Vernon Mauck of Front Royal, Virginia, Kenneth Wimer and his wife, Sharon, of Davis, California; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and, several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Velma Meyers, Dorlene Wilcox, and Doris True.
