James Franklin Tilley, 74, of Crossville, passed away Oct. 20, 2003. Funeral services were conducted Oct. 24 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Crossville City Cemetery. Mike Kerley officiated.
Mr. Tilley was born Feb. 3, 1929 in Modoc, WV.
He was retired from the military and was a tool and die maker.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Ayers Tilley; brothers, Lloyd W. Tilley, Roy D. Tilley and Charles E. Tilley, all of Princeton, WV; and sisters, Pansy Eller of Pleasant Hill, Sue Diegel of Baltimore, MD and Jean Morehead of Rising Sun, MD.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Cebert, Joseph, Robert and Odean Tilley; and sister, Myrtle Mincey.
The Veterans Honor Guard served as pallbearers.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
