John B. Jones, age 90, of Sasser Road, London, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2004, at his residence.
Born July 20, 1914, in Laurel County, Kentucky, he was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Jones and Lucy Smith Jones; his wife, Grace Rush Jones; a son, Donald Jones; five sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include his children, Nellie Benge of Gary, Indiana, Betty Caudill and Peggy Nicholson, both of London, Kentucky, Phyllis Frazier of Heltonville, Indiana, Judy Sasser and Kay McCulley of Lily, Kentucky; four sisters and three brothers, Lena Gross of Houston, Texas, Rebecca Partin of Salem, Indiana, Dorothy Johnson of Livingston, Tennessee, Claudia McDaniel of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Marlin B. Jones, Lowell Edsel Jones and Roy Jones all of London, Kentucky; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, November 5, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Denvis Rush and the Rev. Tim Philpot officiating. Burial will follow in the Gilbert Cemetery.
