Mrs. Jane Adkins, age 84, Route 3, Greensburg, was born on October 31, 1885 in Green Co., KY. She died at 11:00 a.m. November 28, 1969 at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Church of Nazarene, Summersville, KY at the time of her death. Mrs Adkins is survived by 3 daughters: Mrs Irene Oakes, Martinsville, IN; Mrs Christine Morgan and Miss Amma Adkins of Greensburg; 4 sons: Frank and Raymond Adkins of Greensburg; Edwin Adkins of Martinsville, IN and Flem Adkins Jr. of Louisville. She is also survived by 2 brothers: Tom and Noble Sidebottom, both of Greensburg, 39 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The funeral was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 1, 1969 at the Church of Nazarene in Summersville. Rev. J.B. Root and Rev. W.A. Peck officiated. Interment was in the Elmore Family Cemetery. Foster-Jones Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements. Pallbearers were Jimmie Elmore, James Alvin Adkins, William Adkins, Buster Oakes, Larry Thompson & Woodson Sidebottom.
