Funeral services will be 10:15 a.m. Thursday at Saur Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated by the Rev. Ronald Reimer and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Lensmeyer, nee Frances Jirikovec, was born April 2, 1895, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Adam and Catherine Karbon Jirikovec. She was married to Joseph Lensmeyer in 1917. The couple resided at Kellnersville. Mr. Lensmeyer preceded her in death May 25, 1946. Mrs. Lensmeyer continued to reside at Kellnersville until 1978. She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and Kubale-O’Connell V.F.W. Auxiliary No. 6179 of Cato.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Clarence (Butch) and Clara of Whitelaw, and Joseph and Janet of Francis Creek; eight daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred and Joseph Hynek of Manitowoc, Olive and Ray Huinker of Cato, Esther and Larry Skubal of Manitowoc, Grace and Bernard Shimon of Branch, Betty and Ervin Lakatos of Kellnersville, Florence and Melvin Herrmann of Route 1, Whitelaw, Dorothy and Arthur Vogel of Stevens Point, and Corrine and Erwin Dose of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Libbie Ruzek, of Kellnersville, and Mrs. Emil (Elizabeth) Stoklasa of Milwaukee; 33 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Susan Vogel; a son-in-law, Lawrence J. Swoboda, and a brother, Jim Kirikovec.
Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday until the time of services. The Rosary will be recited by the Rosary Society at 7 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a V.F.W. Auxiliary memorial service at 7:30 p.m. and a prayer service by Father Reimer at 8 p.m.
