He grew up in the Humphrey area. On January 31, 1940 he was united in marriage to Josephine Wemhoff at St. Mary's Church. The couple lived and farmed in the Platte Center area until moving to Platte Center. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a life member of the Knights Of Columbus. Tony enjoyed farming, playing cards and spending time with his grandchildren.
