Henry W. Kiser, 97, of North Lawrence, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 at the Apostolic Christian Home.
He was born Aug. 29, 1915 in Fredricksburg to William and Lola (Wilson) Kiser and lived in North Lawrence since 1945.
He was employed at the Marshallville Equity and then worked at the Orrville Dairy Farm Products for 28 years until retiring in 1980.
Henry was a member of the Rittman Apostolic Christian Church and graduated from Holmesville High School in the class of 1934.
His wife, Bertha, died on Feb. 12, 2009; his parents, and a grandson, Dean Kiser; a son-in-law, Russell Boyes; brothers, Wayne and William "Junior"; and sisters, Mary Fixler, Katherine Bartrum and Evelyn Whitmyer all died previously.
Surviving are a son, Lonnie (Sheila) Kiser of North Lawrence; daughters, Carol (George) Schuster, of Rittman, Marilyn Boyes, of Akron; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and brothers, Dean (Bernice) Kiser of Apple Creek and Paul Kiser of Troy.
Services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Rittman Apostolic Christian Church, 10699 Steiner Road., Rittman OH 44270 with Ministers of the Church officiating. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman and from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Apostolic Cemetery.
