Mrs C B Dewing passed away at the hospital on Tuesday evening after several weeks illness, the direct cause being paralysis following other ailments.
Margaret Gahan, daughter of Benjamin and Nora Gahan, was born in Adams county, Wis., on July 9, 1859. She was married on February 9, 1879 to Cliff B Dewing at Easton, Wis. They made their home at Mauston a short time and finally came to Tomahawk where she has resided for the past twenty-one years. To this union there were born six children, five of whom are living: Frank, Earl and Arthur of Mason City, Iowa, and Mrs Belle Cunningham and Belle Dewing of Lincoln, Nebr.
The funeral will be held on Saturday morning of this week at St Mary's church with burial in Calvary cemetery.
