Husband: Cassius Virgil McVicker Lydia Badley was raised by her brother, Anson Badley, after the death of her parents. She married Cassius Virgil McVicker on 20 Dec. 1911 in Eagle Grove, IA. She and Cassius had 5 children: Rosetta Mae, Lawrence Virgil, Lydia Irene, Mary Deloris, and Mildred LaVonne.

August 30, 1888 --- October 23, 1963

Mrs. Lydia McVicker, 75, rural route 3, Eagle Grove, died early Wednesday morning in Lutheran hospital, Fort Dodge, where she had been a patient about 16 hours. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Methodist church.

Mrs. McVicker is survived by four daughters and one son, Mrs. Frederick Schrader of Creston, Mrs. Ray Wardrip of Odebolt, Mrs. Phillip Peterson, Cedar Rapids and Miss Dolores McVicker of this city, and Lawrence McVicker of Terrill. Other survivors are eleven grandchildren and one brother Jesse Badley of Moose Jaw, Sask., Canada.

Mrs. McVicker was born in Roseberry, Mich., and came to Eagle Grove when a small child to make her home with her brother Anson Badley and family. She had lived here all her life with the exception of a few years in her early childhood. She was married to C. V. McVicker in 1911. He died in 1950.
