Lonnie Todd is the son of Marksey Lafayette and Ardelia McCurdy Todd. Born in Sevier Co., AR, he grew up and lived most of his life in Eagletown, OK. He had 10 siblings that lived to grow up and they are:

William Richard "Bill" Todd 1881 – 1964
Luvena A. "Viney" Todd 1884 – 1910
John Louis Todd 1887 – 1947
Laura Ann "Cricket" Todd 1888 – 1970
Addie Arminta Todd 1893 – 1970
Elsie Armarie Todd 1895 – 1990
Nelsie Ardonia Todd 1899 – 1920
Arizona "Zonie" Todd 1904 – 1970
Armina "Miney" Todd 1906 – 1994
Anne Arminta "Annie" Todd 1908 – 1927

Lonnie married Irene Hadley on 2 Jun 1928, in Sevier Co., Arkansas. They lost two babies including their first born son and a 5 mo. old daughter. However, they raised a son and 4 daughters who grew up in McCurtain Co., OK. A loving father and husband, Lonnie preceded his wife by 20 years. Survived by his wife, and four daughters and a son as well as many grandchildren. Lonnie is my great uncle. My grandfather was Lonnie's older brother - John Louis Todd.

NOTE: There has been some disagreement over Lonnie's given name. This history has been researched since 2008 by several people and all are in agreement that his name was Henry Alonzo "Lonnie" Todd. This fact was verified by his daughter, the late Melba Jean Todd Roan. She even included a couple of stories about his mother using the name "Alonzo" when she disapproved of something he said or did since he didn't like to be called by that name. Because of his dislike of the name he didn't tell everyone what it was and always went by Lonnie.
**This will conclude my research on this name and I'm truly sorry if everyone is not in agreement but I use the best "Historical Facts" found when stating any name or data concerning a person here on Findagrave in the name block or in my Bio. I spend a lot of research time to make my memorial's as factual as possible. The data on this website is not to please everyone with a different opinion but to list "factual burial data".

Rest peacefully Uncle Lonnie. Your family loves and remembers you...
