HAROLD AUSTIN MOOSE Sr.

Harold Austin Moose, Sr. went home to be with the Lord on Oct 4, 2011.

He was born on October 22, 1923 in Statesville, NC. Harold was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Daytona Beach for thirty years. He served in the military from 1944 till 1946. Harold moved to Orlando, FL in 1971 where he owned and managed a restaurant. He then moved to Daytona where he owned and operated a successful family restaurant called "The Homestead."

Harold is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Allie. He is also survived by his seven children, Linda Ballard of Winter Garden, FL, Elizabeth (Ton) Potts of Taylorsville, NC, Harold Austin (Sandy) Moose Jr., of Conover, NC, Sherry Mowery of Port Orange, FL, Amy (Matt) Galbo of Port Orange, FL, Jack (Jenny) Moose of Brooksville, FL and Terry (Diane) Hamby of Statesville, NC.; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 12:00PM Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Crossroads Baptist Church, Daytona Beach. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00AM until the time of service at the church. Entombment will at Volusia Memorial Park, Ormond Beach, FL at 3:00PM Saturday, October 8, 2011. Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.volusiamemorialfunerals.com.
