Charles C. Scott, 71, of Waynesburg R.D. 4 died Monday, October 26, 1992, in Greene County Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born October 6, 1921, in Carmichaels, a son of Thomas G. and Lena Conner Scott.

A retired steelworker, he worked for U.S. Steel Corp. in Lorain, Ohio.

A veteran of World War II, he served as a first sergeant with Company K, 110th Infantry in Europe.

He resided most of his life in the Waynesburg area.

On December 6, 1946, he married Lillian Price Scott, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, a daughter, two sisters, three brothers, a half-brother, nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and one great-step-granddaughter.

Deceased are twin daughters, Sandra and Linda Scott; a brother, James Scott; and a half-sister, Pauline Scherich.
