Obituary, from the Chariton, Iowa, Herald-Patriot, Thursday, 13 May 1943, p.2:

Albert Auxier, of Melcher, died May 3 at Wahoo, Nebr., where he had been employed at the ordnance plant. He suffered a heart attack, from which he never recovered. He was confined in the base hospital for some time, as he was too ill to be moved. His wife, Mrs. Della Auxier, went to Wahoo upon receipt of word of his illness. He had lived in the vicinity of Melcher all his life, and had a wide acquaintance. His passing was a great shock to his many friends, as he had seemingly been in good health. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, May 5, and burial was in Dallas Cemetery.
