Josephine Beadle Anderson, 87, of Caseville, died in her home on Monday, after a long illness while under hospice care.

Josephine was born in Caseville to the late George and Frances (Nicklas) Beadle. She grew up in Caseville and graduated from Bay Port High School.

She married Charles J. Anderson of Detroit on November 23, 1939 in St. Roch Catholic Church, Caseville, Huron County, Michigan.

She moved to Detroit and lived there until returning to Caseville in 1971. After retiring, she and her husband spent many winters in Florida and Texas. She was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church and the Caseville American Legion, Jean Post 543. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and knitting.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 2000, son-in-law Aloysuis, brothers William, George and Thomas Beadle and sister Geraldine Parent.
