Faye Ellen Admire, 86, formerly of Council Grove, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the Presbyterian Manor in Emporia, Kansas.
Born October 16, 1920, in rural Ellsworth County, Kansas, Faye was the daughter of Emerson and Mary (Hafenstine) Donley. She married Milford A. "Tuffy" Admire on February 14, 1941 in Ellsworth, Kansas. Mrs. Admire was a homemaker and also helped Milford at the studio. She was a member of the Council Grove Congregational Church, the VFW Auxiliary and the Council Grove Country Club. She loved to play golf and bridge.
Mrs. Admire was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; 3 sisters, Mabel Warta, Alice Elmore, and May Williamson; and 2 brothers, Bob Donley and Elmer Donley.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 15, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Council Grove Chapel with burial to follow at Sunnyslope Cemetery, Council Grove. Mrs. Admire will lie in state from noon until 9:00PM, Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the funeral home with visitation that evening from 7:00PM – 8:30PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Council Grove Congregational Church and may be sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Council Grove Chapel.
