Doings of the Week
Mr. Richard Garrison and Miss Ava McKinney were united in the holy bonds of matrimony on Tuesday night in the home of the bride. Rev. T.J. Warlick performed the solemn ceremony. Many beautiful wedding gifts were received by this popular young couple who start out on life's journey with wishes for a life of uninterrupted happiness.

Mrs. Ava Garrison Died Yesterday

Minden. Jan. 2.--Mrs. Ava Garrison, wife of Richard Garrison, of this place, died here this evening at 2 o'clock, aged 23 years.
