Bonnie J. Barber, age 73, of Dunlap, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 5:20 p.m. at her residence.

She was born July 16, 1943 in Peoria to Edgar and Ida (Hartter) Masters. She married Ken Barber on Dec. 22, 1962 in Peoria. He survives along with two daughters: Connie (Jim) Carmody of Dunlap, Wendy (Todd) Bennett of Peoria, seven grandchildren: Ryan (Layne Carson) Bishop, Nicholas (Jamie) Stroup, Amber and Kourtni Stocker, Brayton Wallace, Danielle and Chase Bennett, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Scott Barber, and one sister, Nadine Gerber.

Bonnie was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She along with her husband were members of the Slowpokes Car Club and the Old Hippie Street Rodders Club. She loved horses and enjoyed her large collection of dolls.

Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.

The family welcomes their car enthusiast friends, to drive their street rods to the visitation and funeral.
