MRS. LORA MAE BLAKER
Mrs. Lora Mae Blaker, 76, widow of Benjamin D. Blaker, of Carmichaels R.D. (Fairdale), died at her home Sunday, Aug. 23, 1953, at 1:30 a.m. after an illness of the past several weeks. She was born July 6, 1877, at Fordyce, a daughter of John L. and Mary Wright Reeves and had lived 27 years at Charleroi before moving to Fairdale 24 years ago. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Dessie Davis, at home; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Vance, Mapletown; two brothers, Walter Reeves, Charleroi and T. J. Reeves, Pittsburgh, one granddaughter also is living. She was a member of the Carmichaels Presbyterian Church and the Carmichaels Garden Club.
