Mr. Asbury Frances Williams, 76 years old, of Frederick, Md., died on Friday, August 25, 2006, at Northampton Manor Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Grace and Frank Williams.

Asbury attended school in Montgomery County, Md.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Leo Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Andrew; grandson, Quarnell Daunte Weedon; long-time girl friend, Lavana Weedon; three sisters, Estelle Fisher, Dorothy Gaither and Mary Gray; one brother, Sherman Williams; two brothers-in-law, Frank Gray and John Gaither; four step-children, Alexander and Joyce Chase, Brenda Jackson and Patricia Weedon; 13 step-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He will also be missed by special friends David Diggs, Jack Foreman, Dave Morris, Ross Jackson Sr. and Wayne Williams.

Public viewing will be on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at the Gary L. Rollins Funeral Home, 110 West South St. from 2 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the above chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Rev. Ross Jackson will be officiating. Interment Fairview Cemetery.
