Madge F. McCoskey, 101, of Cedar Falls died Monday, October 16, 2017 at UnityPoint – Allen Hospital in Waterloo.

She was born September 27, 1916 in Webster City, Iowa daughter of Carl and Mabel (Wilson) Neese.

She married Lester McCoskey on September 8, 1936 in Webster City. He died July 12, 1992.

She graduated from Stanhope High School

and owned and operated McCoskey Furniture with her husband, retiring in 1975.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls.

Survived by: a son, Steven McCoskey of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Judith Fincher of Overland Park, KS; five grandchildren: Terri (John) Podolanko, Leslie Glasgow, SaDonna (Todd) Devaney, Chad McCoskey and Buck (Stephanie) McCoskey; ten great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and Susan McCoskey.

Preceded in death by: two brothers, Vern and Wayne Neese; and two sons-in-law, Bob Mays and Tim Fincher.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 23, at Richardson Funeral Service with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and also for one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church or Western Home Foundation.
