Benjamin L. Taylor, 57, 3723 N. Columbus, died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital.

Born May 10, 1926, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., to Benjamin and Roenia Pulliam Taylor, he married Melba L. Fletcher March 5, 1951, in Piggot, Ark.

He was a self-employed maintenance man.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Ronnie L., stationed with the U.S. Air Force in England, and Ricky L. of Peoria; three daughters, Fern Stoien, Connie Sue Taylor, and Cathy L. Taylor, all of Peoria; one sister, Mae Hamilton of Eldorado Springs, Mo.; and two half brothers, Amos Richardson of Grayridge, Mo. and Frank Robinson of California.

One sister and two brothers preceded him in death.
